This Sunday we are gathering for worship at 10am via zoom. Here we seek to create organic, authentic space for worship together. This week we continue to journey with Job and explore the notion that religion does not offer certainty but instead challenges us to be truthful.

Wondering questions

  • How do you respond to the idea that faithfulness is about a call to radical honesty with God, ourselves, and others?
  • Is it easy for you to name your sorrow and anger to God, or do you feel pressure to always be happy in prayer?
  • Jesus calls the rich man to put down his striving, to give away all his wealth to the poor and to follow Jesus. How does this challenge us – and the church – to put down our striving, and to share our wealth as we follow Jesus?
