Richmond Uniting Church is blessed with many people who share their gifts in diverse ways: in worship preparation and leadership, taking the bible seriously, not literally; in creating space to engage with the scandalous way of Jesus (in worship, theology groups, Midday Prayers, book groups etc); and who inspire and support the community to live simply and generously, serving in our local and global village (at Richmond Churches Food Centre, through UnitingWorld, and in our daily lives).
After ten full years as Minister of the Word at Richmond Uniting, at Easter 2024 Rev Dr Sally Douglas concluded her placement, to take up a new placement at Pilgrim Theological College. The congregation is working with Presbytery and Synod in the process of seeking a new minister who will continue in the journey with us of following Christ, empowered by Spirit. In the meantime, each week worship leadership is being shared by different RUC worship leaders, along with some some supply ministry.
At Richmond Uniting we value the gifts of each person and rejoice in people sharing their diverse gifts with us all. You are welcome here.
