Exhibition featuring works by Andrew Gemmill, Julian Bruere and Peter Smales

This exhibition in Gallery 314 will be opened by Robert Wade OAM at 6 pm on Thursday 25th July.

The exhibition runs from Wednesday 24th June until Sunday 5th July.
Opening hours each day are 12 noon to 6 pm.

Julian Bruere is a well known artist and illustrator, particularly regarded
for his watercolour snow gum landscapes and maritime scenes.
He is much sought after as a teacher and has established a reputation
as an energetic and innovative artist in the realist, figurative tradition.

Peter Smales is one of Australia’s leading landscape artists.
His oil paintings are alive with colour and excitement
and he follows in the footsteps of the Heidelberg School
as one of the finest artists Australia has produced.
He is a member of the prestigious Twenty Melbourne Painters.

Andrew Gemmill is a watercolour artist gaining a growing reputation
as a teacher and technician with a thoughtful and fresh approach to his art.
He is fond of travelling and has produced a large body of work
from many journeys overseas.
He is an ex-President of the Watercolour Society of Australia.
